Dubai Charity Association is making a high-quality participation in the 28th edition of the Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (WETEX 2026), organized by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) from October 20 to 22 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The association stands out as the only charitable organization participating in this premier specialized event in the region.

This participation comes as part of the association's strategy to enhance its presence in specialized exhibitions and events hosted by the United Arab Emirates, and to build bridges of cooperation between the charitable work sector and vital sectors, particularly the energy and water sectors.

WETEX 2026 provides a strategic platform bringing together energy, water, and technology leaders, alongside developers, engineers, and technology providers from 65 countries, to focus on smart and sustainable city development technologies, carbon footprint reduction, and climate change adaptation.

Through its presence among this global elite, Dubai Charity Association seeks to explore opportunities for employing sustainable solutions and practices in its charitable and humanitarian projects and initiatives, as well as discussing ways of cooperation and building partnerships with participating entities and institutions, contributing to supporting the association's goals and expanding the scope of its humanitarian and community impact.

On this occasion, His Excellency Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of Dubai Charity Association, said: "Our participation in WETEX 2026 for the first time as the sole charitable organization embodies our unwavering commitment to continuous development and the implementation of the UAE's national directions in the fields of sustainability and resource conservation. Today, we look at humanitarian work with a future-oriented vision; it is no longer limited to the traditional response to basic requirements, but has extended to integrate with technological solutions and green practices that ensure the sustainability of impact and make a tangible difference in the lives of communities

His Excellency added: "This global platform enables us to communicate directly with experts and decision-makers to introduce Dubai Charity Association's initiatives and projects, and to discuss future partnership opportunities that empower us to employ the latest energy, water, and sustainable technology solutions in our developmental and humanitarian projects, thereby elevating the outcomes of charitable work both locally and internationally.
