Dubai Charity Association, in cooperation and partnership with ENOC Group, organized the “Back-to-School” Initiative, aimed at supporting 450 children, including orphans sponsored by the Association and children from underprivileged families.
The celebration, held at Mövenpick Hotel Dubai, featured the distribution of high-quality school bags and stationery supplies, along with motivational gifts for the children. The initiative aimed to prepare them both psychologically and emotionally to welcome the new academic year with enthusiasm and confidence, while easing the financial burden on their families.
Regarding the significance of this initiative, H.E. Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Charity Association, affirmed that investing in the human capital of deserving segments of society is a cornerstone of the Association’s institutional vision. He said:“Education is not merely a fundamental right; it is the most important bridge toward empowering future generations and building a more sustainable future. From this perspective, Dubai Charity Association is committed to removing all economic barriers that may hinder the academic success and excellence of our children from sponsored orphans and underprivileged families.
He added:“Our collaboration with ENOC Group exemplifies an ideal national model of collaborative social responsibility, where our institutions’ efforts come together to create an inspiring environment that supports 450 children, brings smiles to their faces, and instills in them hope and motivation to pursue their education, excel, and succeed.
The event was attended by a distinguished group of executive leaders and representatives from Dubai Charity Association and ENOC Group, along with the active participation of more than 40 male and female volunteers. Their efforts contributed to organizing the event and managing the interactive and entertainment activities, creating an atmosphere of joy and happiness as school supplies and gifts were distributed to the beneficiary children.
It is worth noting that this initiative forms part of the seasonal “Alef Baa” Campaign to Support Education, launched by Dubai Charity Association to enhance the impact and sustainability of charitable work, while reaffirming its pioneering role in translating the noble directives of the UAE’s wise leadership into institutionalized humanitarian solidarity and a sustainable way of life.
